Richard B. Cheney an eminent public servant and entrepreneur is the vice-president of the United States. Cheney a familiar face on the Washington scene of politics and has been under various U.S. presidents George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush. He will serve as the fourth vice president, and is an elected representative. Bush has nominated Cheney to be his vice president running partner in July of 2001. Bush cited Cheney's wisdom judgement, experience, and judgment. Dick Cheney was a chief of Staff to Presidents, was a member of the United States Congress as Secretary of Defense, and served the nation in various roles. He's a man of integrity whom is admired by Republicans and Democrats. Cheney said that his job in the Bush administration will be that of a transparent but disinterested adviser. Cheney declared that after he was accepted as the Republican nomination as vice president Cheney was looking forward to working alongside a President who will work across the political aisle in order to accomplish his goals. He will work with his opponents in trust and respect. Richard Bruce Cheney is the son of Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born January 30, 1941, at Lincoln Nebraska. When Richard Bruce Cheney was 13, he and his family moved from Lincoln Nebraska to Casper Wyoming which is where his father worked for Casper Wyoming, where his father was the director of U.S. Department of Agriculture's regional conservation districts.
