Katherine Heigl has opened up about her childhood within "a white bubble." The actress also discusses how that realization has affected the way she raises adopted children that are multiracial. In an interview, the "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy", actress revealed her body didn't matter to her, however, after speaking to her adopted sister from South Korea about how society was treating them, she became aware of how much different the two were. Meg was asked if her treatment was different in the times they went out with their parents or when they went alone. Meg replied "Oh yes! All the time!" Heigl spoke to Parents about when she realized the naivety of her actions. Her anger grew at the time, and chose to use that anger to assist her daughters who were adopted by her. Sheigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4 have been together for thirteen years. They have took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) with a black complexion and was adopted in 2009.
